Hello!  I’m Cindy, though most of my family calls me CC, thanks to my nephew who gave me this nickname at a young age.  My initials weren’t CC at the time, but after marriage my initials actually became CC! I am a farmer’s daughter, the youngest of 7 (six of which are girls), wife, mother to twins, aunt to 17, great-aunt to 16 (with that number quickly changing), owner of two dogs and two cats, special human to one spoiled Pug, surrogate mother to more kittens than anyone should be, practicing Catholic, Divine Mercy Chaplet pray-er, writer, card player, HGTV watcher, audio book listener, and lover of game shows..  Oh…and the Iowa Hawkeyes!  

My whole life has been centered around children.  I started babysitting at 9, working at a day care at 16, and then became a teacher.  My career in education took me inside the classroom, to a tutoring agency, assisting those with special needs by teaching at the Department of the Blind, to the role of Job Developer, and serving in two parish Faith Formation programs.  I’ve taken my ideals as a mom, love of passing on our faith, passion for developmentally appropriate education, deep desire to make a connection between history and today, organizational skills, and attention to detail and combined them to create products for Catholic individuals, families, and Faith Formation programs. I’ve had some of these ideas for over fifteen years, but I’m finally in a stage of life where I can put my time and energy into making this dream a reality. 

My greatest desires are to have someone say, “I never thought of it that way,” ignite people’s passion to learn more about the riches of the Catholic faith, give families resources to celebrate their faith and pass that celebration on to others, make something that happened over a millenia ago seem relevant in our lives today, and to show how the seasons of the Church are at least as important (in reality, MUCH more important) as the athletic seasons.
